Who are they?
Th O'Connor Group are landlords with properties in Manchester and London. With the growing demand for short let executive flats in London the O'Connor Group could see a gap in the market. Most of the properties currently available for this purpose are simply real homes with owners living abroad often the decore is either dated or done in a very personal taste. Our client therefore decided to create purpose built apartments that would allow the busy executives visiting London to enjoy the style of a boutique hotel with all the comforts of home.

What did we do?
Pomegranate was brought in to turn two tired properties in Notting Hill into ten appartments that would appeal to fashionable media-types. The brief was to create individual looks for each property that would be both trendy and homely. Our client wanted to offer their tenants a choice of styles so that they would be able to pick their favourite and ask for it on their return visits.

How much did it cost?
With a low end £5,000 budget per flat but high aspirations this was just our type of project. We set to work selecting products from our wholesale suppliers, getting the best prices available.

What was the result?
The ten flats were completed three months later. The Director of the company was so happy with the results that he commissioned us to design his own house in Ireland. He’s even happier now that 100% of the flats rent out at £800 per week for the majority of the time.
