Welcome Homeowners to the Lounge .... make yourselves comfortable!
Creating a home is a very personal thing. Our homes should be a haven but for many of us ourhomes become part of our everyday burdens.
"The home should be the treasure chest of living"
Le Corbusier
At Pomegranate we try to take the load off our clients shoulders, realising their dreams and aspirations in creative ways that enhance their lives for many years. Some homeowners come to us with a whole house in need of complete resuscitation! However many chose to take it one room at a time focussing in key areas such as the kitchen and bathroom whilst moving onto the less difficult projects later. Whatever your project we are here to help you take the myriad of difficult decissions.
We always take a collaborative approach to each project. We do not see the pooint of imposing our taste on your home; after all, we won't be living day to day with the choices that are made. Instead we listen carefully to you, ask lots of questions to get hints on your likes and dislikes. From this we are able to start to develop a brief, which will fulfil your requirements, tastes, hopes and drreams.
Every project we undertake is unique because every client is unique as is every property - they are both waiting to tell their own story. To reveal this story there are some things we have to set in motion. Here is the way a project normally unfolds:
Your Free Initial Consultation
We offer all our clients a free, no obligation, initial interior design conusltation if they live within 25 miles of our offices near Epsom, Surrey. If you live further a field we charge for expences but the consultation is still free.

Your Budget
From this initial meeting it is possible to create an outline of the brief and the budget. The budget is often a worrying thing to consider, please be assured we are lead by you on this and will only advise an increase if your plans for the spend would compromise your expectations of the finished project.
Your Initial Brief
It is crucial to get this right at the beginning and as such will be ther first element you will be paying for our expertise. We write this in the form or a report which outlines your expectations and requirements. We will use our notes from our initial meeting and bring together our first thoughts and the ideas discussed. In addition we will start to allocate parts of your budget. These estimations will be firmed up as we aquire quotations from the various trades who will need to be commisioned to implement the Final Brief.
Visualisation
This is our forte, it is our job to help you visulaise what your project will look like in the end. We do this by creating ideas and style boards, drawing up plans for kitchens and bathrooms as well as brining together samples of materials that may be used in the final project. Using our expertise to realise your dreams we will filter through the endless choice of products, finishes and styles that confuse and overwhelm, bringing you the best and most perfect items to adorn your home.
The Final Brief
Once we have all agreed on the finer details of the project we will write up the Final Brief. Depending on the project this could include final designs and layouts for kitchens and bathrooms, furniture lists, soft furnishing requirements, fabric, wall paper and paint samples, flooring and tiling designs etc etc. The Final Brief is designed to be a reference document for you, us and any trade that is commisioned to realise the dream!
The Ta-Daa moment
Many of our clients chose to move out or go on holiday and leave us with the keys. Whilst they are away we sprinkle the fairy dust and transform their homes. Whether you move out or not we work to a deadline and when the day comes to do the big reveal we make sure that everything is perfect. Once every cushion is plumped, every surface is polished and even the champagne is chilled we invite you back in to see your 'new home' ..... wiping the sweat from our brows it's time to say Ta-Daa!
